I had been unhappy with my skin for a long time; as a teenager I’d had acne and felt that my skin had never really recovered from that. Over 25 years later, it seemed that I was still spot prone but now had the added complication of wrinkles and aging too! It was frustrating but also very depressing to be honest, and I was always conscious of having ‘bad skin’ and felt very uncomfortable without make-up and not much better with it.
One of my best friends suggested Sarah at Sure Aesthetics because she knew that I was after more than simply a facial but not something as extreme as surgery. Sarah was just lovely and gave me a detailed analysis of exactly what the problems were with my skin and together with the range of options I had regarding treatment. She devised a bespoke programme including Mesotherapy and laser treatments to address the (many!) areas of concern I had and I saw improvements from the very first session. My skin felt beautifully hydrated and over the next few days it continued to improve, looking more even in tone and with congestion clearing. Sarah also offered great advice and products for effective aftercare at home which meant that I felt I was continuing her good work once I’d left the clinic.
As a result of Sarah’s expertise, I am now far more confident about my skin and have had so many comments about how well I look! My skin is far more even in tone and colour, the blemishes have disappeared and the fierce breakouts I used to experience have stopped. If I do get the odd spot, my skin seems to have learned to heal itself since the cell turnover and renewal is now far more effective. The absolute best thing is that I am now starting to feel that my skin looks healthy and smooth with or without make-up and that’s a real bonus!
Sure Aesthetics is such a friendly place; it’s professional, accessible and offers a tailored service from client to client, but most importantly of all, it’s treatments actually work and that’s really what you want the most!
